Chandanasava – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:

Chandanasava Indications: Useful in Burning micturition, Dysuria, Haematuria, Nocturnal emission & all other urinary disorders due to Gonorrhea. Also useful in loss of appetite & acts as a cardiac tonic.

Chandanasava – Composition:

Each 15 ml contains:

Shavet chandan (Santalum album), Rakta chandan (Pterocarpus santalinus), Netra bala (Vellariana indica), Mustak (Cyperus rotundus), Gambhari (Gmelina arboria), Nilotpala (Nymphaea stellata), Priyangu (Callicarpa macrophylla), Padmakh (Prunus cerasoides), Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa), Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia), Patha (Cissapelos pareira), Chirayita (Swertia chirayita), Nyagrodha (Ficus bengalensis), Pippali (Piper longum), Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Madhukpushpa (Madhuca indica), Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata), Patola (Trichosanthes dioica), Kanchnar (Bauhinia variegata), Amra (Mangifera indica), Mochrasa (Bombax malabaricum)-1 part (each of the above ingredients), Dhataki (Woodfordia fruticosa)-16 parts, Draksha (Vitis vinifera)-20 parts, water for decoction-Q.S. (as per text reference), Reduced to—Q.S. (as per text reference) Sharkara (Sugar)-100 parts, Guda (Jaggery)-50 parts.

Prepared and retained as per Asava-Arishta nirman vidhi.

Mode of Use:

15 to 30 ml. with an equal quantity of water half an hour after meals twice daily or as directed by the physician.
