Chemical Constituent and Uses:

Ashoka	It contains sapogenetic, glycosides, sterols, linolenic, stearic, Sitosterol, gallic acid, tannins, catechol.
Uses	It is used for the treatment of menstrual disorders associated with excessive bleeding, congestion, and pain.It is also used for treat hemorrhagia, dysentery, piles, and PCOS.
Dhataki	It contains tannins, ursolic acid, Kaempeferol, Woodfordin D, oenothein A, betulic acid, kaempeferol,thiamine,Vit c.
Uses	It is used bleeding disorder like menoeehagia, nasal bleeding. It is also useful for digestive disorder and in gout.
Shavet jeera	It contains luteolin -7-0- glucopyranoside, Apigenin-7-0-glucopyranoside, aldehydes, aromatic compounds, acetylcholine.
Uses	It has antimicrobial, antispasmodic, anti-fertility, antimicrobial properties.
Mustak	It contains linolenic, beta-sitosterol, stearic acid, mustakone, oleanolic acid, cyprene, luteolin.
Uses	It has anti-inflammatory, tranquilizing, Anti-pyretic, diuretic, antimicrobial activity.
Sunthi	It contains beta-pinene, camphene, zingerone, gingerol, cysteine, arginine.
Uses	It has anti-inflammatory properties, anti-emetic, anti-ulcer, anti-pyretic, anti-bacterial properties.
Daruharidra	It contains berberine, berbonine, aromoline, palmatine, taxilomine.
Uses	It has antipyretic, anticancer, anticoagulants, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Neelopala	It contains Nymphalin ( glucoside), Quercetin, Kaempferol, luteolin etc.
Uses	It is used for blood impurity and vitiation disorders such as acne, skin diseases, bleeding disorders, etc.
Haritaki	It contains chebulagic acid, chebulinic acid, tannin acid, vitamin c, oleic, palmatic and stearic acids.
Uses	It has anti-spasmodic, anti-stress, hypotensive, purgative, anthelmintic properties.
Bhibhataki	It contains chebulagic acid, ellagic acid, fructose, galactose, mannitol, tannins, linoleic acids.
Uses	It is purgative in nature. It has antibacterial, antiasthamatic, spasmodic, anti-bacterial, anti-stress activity.
Amalaki	It contains Vit C, Nicotinic acid, riboflavin, D-glucose, phyllembin, tannins, ellagic acid, phyllantine.
Uses	It has anti-microbial, anti-oxidant, antifungal, antiulcer activity. It is also used as spasmolytic, mild CNS depressant.
Aama	It contain magniferin, gallic acid, bezol, tannins, fat, starch.
Uses	It is useful in certain disorders connected with women’s reproductive organs like vaginitis, leucorrhoea. It is used for diarrhea and chronic dysentery.
Krishna jeera	It contains carvone, menthone, carveol, limonene, camphene.
Uses	It has antispasmodic, antibacterial, larvicidal, antifungal, antiseptic properties.
Vasa	It contains vasicine, lignoceric, linoleic and oleic acid, vasicinol, vasicinone.
Uses	It is a weak cardiac stimulant, antitussive, anticonvulsant and antiarrhythmic activities.
Sweta Chandan	It contains santalin A& B, lupeol, beta-amyrin, coumarins and glycosides.
Uses	It has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antiarthritic, anticonvulsant, antiandrogenic, antibacterial activity. It is also used for hypoglycaemic and stomachic pain.

Indication:

Deep Ayurveda offers a tonic for ladies for their complete health care for various disorders like inflammation, uterine disorders, excessive bleeding & other menstrual disorders.

Adverse effect:

Ashokarishta is possibly safe and well-tolerated in most women. Some women may feel burning sensation after taking this remedy, but this side effect occurs only in women suffering from acidity or heartburn.

Dosage & Mode of use:

10 to 20 ml to be taken mixed with equal quantity of water half an hour after meal twice daily or as directed by the physician.
