Kantakari Avaleha - Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:

Kantakari Avaleha Indication: Useful in acute and chronic cough & cold, Bronchitis, Bronchial asthma, hiccups, etc. It gives relief in the above diseases by its expectorant action.

Ingredients:

Kantkari ghan (Solanum indicum)-14-31%, Go ghrita-7.15%, Pippali (Piper longum)-7.51%, Tvak kshiri (Bambusa bambos)-7.51%, Giloye (Tinospora cofdifolia), Chavya (Piper retrofractum), Mustak (Cyperus rotundus), Kakrashringi (Pistacia integerrhima), Shunthi (Zingiber officinalis), Kali marich (Piper nigrum), Pippali (Piper longum), Dhamasa (Fagonia cretica), Rasana (Plucchea lanceolata), Bharangi (Clerodendrum serretum), Kachur (Curcuma zeodaria), Chitrakmul (Plumbago zeylanicum)-1.72% (each of the above ingredients), Sharkara (Sugar)-42.92%.Prepared and retained as per Paka nirmana vidhi.Available in the form of Granules.

Dosage:

5 to 10 gm to be taken twice in a day with lukewarm milk or water or as directed by the physician.
