Mahashankh Vati – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:

Mahashankh Vati Indication: Useful in the curative treatment of digestion disorders like hyperacidity, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, dyspepsia, impaired digestion, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dysentery & flatulence, etc.

Ingredients:

Each tablet of 300 mg. contains Shankh bhasm (Calcined conch shell), Saindhav lavan (Rock salt), Krishan lavan (Black salt), Samudra lavan (Sea salt), Vidd lavan (Vidd salt), Navsadara (Ammonium chloride), Imlikshar (Tamarind indicus), Shunthi (Zingiber officinalis), Marich (Piper nigrum), Pippali (Piper longum), Sudh hingu (Ferula foetida)-18.75 mg. (each of the above ingredients), Kajjali (Black sulphide of mercury)-37.50 mg., Sudh Vatsanabha (Purified aconitum ferox), Apamarg (Achyranthes aspera), Chitrak (Plambago zeylanicum)-18.75 mg. (each of the above ingredients).Bhavanarth dravyas: Fresh juice of lemon—Q.S. (for mardana).

Dosage:

1 to 2 tablets to be taken twice in a day with luke warm water, lemon juice or as directed by the physician.
