Mahalaxmi Vilas Ras – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:

Mahalaxmi Vilas Ras Indication: Useful in Cough, cold, chronic rhinitis, bronchitis, asthma, tuberculosis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, allergic bronchitis, sinusitis, etc.

Ingredients:

Each 125mg. contains Swarn bhasma (Calcined gold)-1.92 mg., Dhatur beej (Dhatura Stramonium linn.), Vidhara beej (Argyreia speciosa seeds), Jaiphala (Myristica fragrans), Karpur (Camphor), Shudh haritala (Purifed orpiment), Tamra bhasma (Calcined copper)-7.69 mg. (each of the above ingredients), Vang bhasma (Calcined stannum)-15.38 mg., Shudh Gandhak (Purified sulphur)-7.69 mg., Kajjali (Black sulphide of mercury)-15.38 mg., Abhraka bhasma (Calcined mica)-30.76 mg.

Bhavanarth Dravya:

A freshly prepared decoction of Zingiber Officinalis—Q.S. for mardana.

Caution:

To be taken under medical supervision only.

Dosage:

125 to 250 mg. to be taken twice in a day with water, milk, honey or freshly prepared juice of ginger or as directed by the physician.
