Kapardika Bhasma – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:

Kapardika Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from cowries. It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of indigestion, boils, pitta diseases, etc. It is used in the treatment of digestive impairment, malabsorption syndrome, asthma, bronchitis, fever, tuberculosis, chronic bronchial diseases, eye diseases, oligospermia, etc.

Uses of Kapardika Bhasma:

Kapardak Bhasma has high bioavailability, so it shows instant effects in some diseases. It reacts with stomach secretions and neutralizes the acid. The main action of it is observed on AMA (toxins), which is producing due to poor digestion. It improves appetite and digestion, which helps to reduce AMA formation and eliminate the produced AMA.

Indications of Kapardak Bhasam:

Kapardak Bhasma is useful in the treatment of ear discharges, eye disorders, digestive impairment, hyperacidity, gastritis, sprue, pthisis and boils.

Side Effects:

Kapardak Bhasam is considered safe when used under supervision and in the recommended dosage and with appropriate adjuvants.

Dosage of Kapardak Bhasam:

125 TO 250 mg to be taken twice in a day with water, coconut water or as directed by the Physician.
